Dental Services
We offer a full range of dental services to maintain oral health and improve your smile.
Preventive Care
Our comprehensive exams include yearly X-rays, twice-yearly cleanings, and sealants to protect the teeth. We track your dental health over time, and offer tips on preventing decay. Dr. Saale greets each patient after Hygiene visits and conducts an exam to check for signs of gum disease, oral cancer, or other issues.
Tooth Repair
Healthy teeth can last a lifetime. Years ago, diseased or injured teeth were often extracted. But today, there are numerous methods to help you save your natural teeth.
- A filling repairs most small cavities… Tooth-colored materials are used to repair decay.
- A crown caps a tooth to restore its normal shape and strength. If there isn’t enough tooth remaining to provide support for a large filling, or if the tooth is fractured or misshapen, a crown can repair the problem and restore the tooth’s appearance.
- Root canal treatment can salvage an infected tooth so that it can be saved. There are several steps in the process, concluding with the use of a protective crown.
Tooth Replacement
Teeth can be lost by accident, decay or bone loss. If one or more teeth are missing, the remaining teeth may drift out of position. Eating, speaking and chewing may be more difficult, and you may feel self-conscious about your appearance. We offer a number of treatments for tooth replacement.
- A tooth implant consists of a man-made anchor that replaces the root, plus a replacement tooth that is custom-fitted. This solution provides a low-maintenance, permanent solution and prevents a gap.
- A fixed bridge uses remaining teeth as anchors to install a replacement tooth between them. This is less invasive to install than an implant.
- A removable partial denture can be taken out of the mouth for cleaning. It may attach to your remaining teeth with metal clasps or devices called precision attachments, according to your needs.
Cosmetic Dentistry
When you take a close look at your face and smile, would you like to make changes? Due to advances in materials and techniques, cosmetic dentistry offers excellent ways to improve your smile.
- Professional bleaching provides expert whitening of teeth.
- Bonding improves the appearance of chipped, cracked or fractured teeth.
- Porcelain veneers conceal gaps, irregular tooth shapes, or slight misalignment.
Gum Disease Treatment
Periodontal diseases (also known as gum diseases) are infections of the gum and bone that hold teeth in place. If periodontal problems are not treated, they can become severe and lead to tooth loss. The good new is that these diseases often can be halted in the early stages with a treatment called scaling and root planing.
